Program Overview!
The Thespo Arts Management Fellowship is a year-long, full-time program based in Mumbai, designed for young individuals passionate about the performing arts. Fellows will delve into various aspects of arts management, including producing, stage management, community outreach, curation, communication, fundraising, and budget management. The program combines academic learning with practical experience, allowing fellows to plan and execute theatre events, engage with the youth theatre community, and collaborate with national and international partners.

Eligibility Criteria
- Born on or after January 1, 1999
- Keen interest in shaping the theatre scene in India
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Basic organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to work
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
Application Process
APPLICATIONS CLOSE BY 15th May
- Group Discussion: 5-20 May.
(If you are shortlisted for the 2nd round of interviews, you will be expected to complete an aptitude assessment)
- ROUND 2 Interviews: 15-25 May.
- ROUND 3 Interviews: 25-30 May.
If you are selected for the fellowship, you will be informed by 1st June.
Your term begins from 10 June 2025. (ALL DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

About the Thespo Arts Management
Thespo (Started in 1999) is a platform for any and every young person under 25 who is interested in any and all aspects of theatre. Except for the age limit, Thespo firmly believes in including youth from all parts of the world, all fields, all language groups and all art forms who share a love for theatre.
Over the years Thespo has showcased the best of youth theatre from across the country in the form of full length plays, platform performances, play readings, devised performances and much more. Theatre stalwarts and practitioners from around the globe have collaborated with young emerging artistes in India to create unique and memorable performances. Regular workshops covering various aspects of theatre have ensured access to professional training in the field.
The Thespo Arts Management Fellowship is a year-long, hands-on program offering both personal growth and practical experience in the theatre industry, while connecting you to a community of like-minded individuals and experts. Designed for theatre professionals under 25 years of age, the Fellowship offers:
- Skill Development: Gain practical coaching in arts and festival management, including areas like producing, stage management, community outreach, curation, programming, communication, design, fundraising, and budget management.
- Creative Insights: Connect with industry professionals and theatre experts to gain valuable perspectives, foster collaboration, and cultivate strategic thinking within the arts community.
- Hands-On Experience: Apply your skills in real-world settings by planning, organizing, and executing Thespo events throughout the year, including community engagement projects, artist training, live performances, and festival management.
- Networking Opportunities: Access an exclusive network of alumni, mentors, and peers, all passionate about shaping the future of theatre in India.
Fellowship Grant: INR 2.16 lakh per annum
