Program Overview!
Are you passionate about education and eager to drive real change in India’s classrooms? The Teach For India Fellowship offers young leaders a two-year, full-time opportunity to transform the lives of underserved children while growing their own leadership capabilities. With hands-on teaching, rigorous training, and lifelong support, this program is perfect for individuals committed to social impact, educational equity, and nation-building. If you’re ready to lead from the front and tackle India’s education crisis head-on—this is your chance.
Teach For India (TFI) is a non-profit movement of passionate leaders working to eliminate educational inequity in India. As part of the global Teach For All network, TFI recruits India’s brightest minds to serve as full-time teachers in low-income schools across the country. Their mission is to build a pipeline of leaders who will drive systemic change in education—both inside and beyond the classroom. Through training, mentorship, and on-ground experience, TFI empowers fellows to become lifelong advocates for equity.
The Teach For India Fellowship is a selective, two-year, paid leadership development program that places young professionals and graduates as full-time teachers in underserved schools. Fellows work in communities across seven cities to bridge learning gaps and inspire academic achievement. Beyond teaching, fellows are trained to become change agents in education and society, equipped with critical leadership and problem-solving skills.
