The NSE is a national-level online exam available to students from grade 5 up to diploma/degree levels. It consists of 100 objective-type questions—spanning Mathematics & General Science, General Knowledge, Reasoning & Analytical, and Comprehension—designed to identify talent, strengthen decision-making, and highlight strengths and weaknesses. Conducted at home or in selected centers, it offers recognition and financial rewards to top performers and encourages academic growth.

Eligibility Criteria
- Indian resident currently studying in:
- Grades 5–12 (any board)
- Diploma or Degree courses (any year/stream)
- Open to both individual applicants and students via schools/colleges
- Application fee of ₹500, waived for martyrs’ children (with valid code)
Application Process
- Register online via the NSE portal: niceedu.org/registernse
- Fill form including personal, academic, and contact details
- Pay fee ₹500 via online (UPI, card, net banking) or offline DD (address in Nashik)
- Receive login credentials, download hall ticket after 20 Nov 2025
- Attempt exam online on 7 or 14 Dec 2025 (60 minutes, 100 questions)
- Results announced end of December; scholarships and certificates awarded based on rank
- Hardcopies (for offline applicants) are to be sent to designated head/branch office
