Eligibility Criteria
- Open to students, practitioners, translators, scholars, and teachers in any Buddhist tradition
- Proposal must be clearly related to Buddhist practice or study; unrelated applications are declined
- First-time applicants only in each round (no multiple submissions in same cycle)
Application Process
- Create a Submittable account at the Khyentse Foundation portal
- Submit your application by 15 July 2025, 5:00 PM via Submittable
- Include: retreat/practice plan and schedule, budget estimate, personal/teacher details, and relevant background
- Review period: Decisions announced approximately 4 months post-deadline (by mid-November)
- Renewal: Recipients may reapply annually for continued funding and longer retreat periods
