Program Overview!
Are you an entrepreneur with a mission to create lasting social change? The Watson Institute Flagship Fellowship is your gateway to transforming your venture. Over 16 weeks, you’ll receive intensive training, tailored mentorship from industry leaders, and join a global network of changemakers. The journey begins with a 5-day immersive in Boulder, Colorado, followed by virtual programming to help you sharpen leadership skills, scale your initiative, and connect deeply with peers across the world. This fully-funded opportunity is built for impact-focused leaders ready to take their vision to the next level.
The Flagship Fellowship unites 30 purpose-driven entrepreneurs at the “missing middle” stage—ventures with proven traction looking to scale. Starting with a 5-day in-person immersive in Boulder, it transitions into weekly online sessions and community-based leadership activities. Fellows engage in pitch development, skill-building workshops, and mentorship while hosting local impact events (Basecamps) to apply their learning in real-world contexts.

Eligibility Criteria
- 18+ years old
- Leading a nonprofit or for-profit venture with an established model
- Actively serving underserved communities
- Preference for applicants from USA, East Africa, Brazil, and China
- Committed to attending all weekly sessions and immersive activities
Application Process
- Online Application – Takes ~30 minutes. Apply by June 22, 2025, for priority consideration.
- Review Phase – Evaluated for innovation, impact potential, and scalability.
- Interview Round – 20-minute Zoom call to share your journey and goals.
- Selection & Enrollment – Final decisions by August 2025. Program starts August 18, 2025.
