Racial Diversity UK is a competitive research fund aimed at exploring the root causes, enduring barriers, and transformative opportunities of racial diversity in the UK. It welcomes varied methodological approaches—quantitative, qualitative, applied, and participatory—with a minimum focus on race and ethnicity. The program encourages collaborative partnerships between researchers and racially minoritised communities. Grants aim to generate actionable insights that influence public conversation, policy development, and effective interventions.

Application Process

- Shortlist stage: Invited applicants complete full proposal (peer-reviewed).
