Eligibility Criteria
• Must hold Overseas fee status (international student).
• Must be entering the first year of an undergraduate degree (this includes direct entry into year 2 but excludes transfers from another institution).
• Subjects excluded: Medicine, and BA International Honours joint courses with William & Mary (see page for exceptions).
• Selection is based on academic merit; applicants who are in the top of their school are encouraged to apply.
Application Process
1. Apply for your chosen undergraduate course at St Andrews. After you submit the course application you’ll receive login details for the My Application portal (allow two working days).
2. Apply for the scholarship via the University of St Andrews International Undergraduate Scholarships application form in the Scholarships & Funding section of My Application. You can apply before you receive an offer.
3. Provide references: one academic reference (may be same as course application reference) and one personal reference (max 250 words each). Referees can email references to
